Short paragraph of Triathlon background to include, how long you have been doing Triathlons, maybe some names of races you've been in, any top finishes?

I had never done anything competitive (classic couch potatoe)before in my life, was in Alamogordo 4 years ago visiting friends when the subject of a duathlon at holoman came up, I had started running about 8 months ago and decided what the heck, won my age group and that is when I met Mark Balsiger, he tried to steal my award... before this race I had no thought of ever doing a triathlon, much less an ironman, though it was crazy/stupid, now I've done 3 (if you count utah, I was in the water for almost 2 hours) and still have not managed to run during one.. can't wait for the next one...ended up doing 8 races in Swtri series that year with buffalo springs being my 2nd triathlon 7 weeks after MVTC where I figured out I did not know how to swim... I've done a few races outside of Swtri and have found out that I enjoy the SW Tri club/series more than anything, just wish it was closer........

Top Finishes:
all of them

Worst Finishes:  First yukka I did, blew both plantar facia during the first run then aspirated post nasal drip and ended up with pneumonia....

Favorite Race(s): Buffalo Springs, Milkman and all of the White Sands races

Funniest thing that has happened to you during a race: last years stealth when my derailler came apart, everybody asked me when the came by what I was doing looking at the ground ...looking for the parts,

One piece of advice: never give up and  always thank volunteers,

Big race(s) of the year: Buffalo Springs

Favorite After Race recovery food: what else is there, a big juicy hamburger

Dedications: to Skip for all the hard work he puts into this series.... thanks

Best excuse for a bad performance: there are no bad performances, just some are better than others...

Favorite Training routine: what's training

Short paragraph about life outside of Triathlons: work, work, school and more work
