Member Bio Questionnaire

Date:           01/22/03
Name:         Michael Giudicissi
Occupation: Sales
Male/Female: Male
Age Group: 35-39

Years in Triathlon: 4

Single or Family, if Family, how large: Wife…..Naji……….Daughter….Mia

Where do you live: Albuquerque

Short paragraph of Triathlon background to include, how long you have been doing Triathlons, maybe some names of races you’ve been in, any top finishes? I started racing at the Polar Bear in ’99 and have been at it since. My only age group win came at last seasons Roadrunner where I decimated the 35-39’s with a stunning performance…………yes, I was the only one racing.

Top Finishes:  The Bottomless Lakes races……..I’m 5 for 5 in the medals……there………now I’ve jinxed myself.

Worst Finishes:  Every other race………

Favorite Race(s): All the Bottomless races and the Cibola Duathlon………that’s one tough course.

Funniest thing that has happened to you during a race:  Last seasons Socorro Tri……I had to pee so ran up next to a tree and answered Mother Natures call……….as I pulled up the front of my shorts and ran away I realized that I only had pulled up my race belt……..talk about letting it all hang out in a race.

One piece of advice:  If you’re behind me in a race…………you’re way too slow

Big race(s) of the year:  Buffalo Springs………..looking to finish with some fluid left in my body.

Favorite After Race recovery food: Filet-o-Fish……..the greasier the better.

Best excuse for a bad performance: I’m old….fat and slow……oh yea….and bald………

Favorite Training routine: The ride up Tramway Blvd from the Westside. Once you reach a point in the season where you are totally aerobic all the way up……you know you’re ready

Short paragraph about life outside of Triathlons:  I have worked in sales for the past 10 years so that along with Triathlon proves I’m a glutton for punishment…I love spending time with my family and of course working with the great group from Tri Team SW……….this year 61 members………..next year ???????????
